For her final project in the Graduate Diploma Graphic Design program at University of the Arts, London, Abby created Situated: The Positionality App. Throughout the course, she immersed herself in Inclusive Design practices, and used her final project to create an app about confronting hidden biases. The app uses the framework of astrology to create user “signs” based off their positionality indicators, being their race, gender, sexuality, class, and ability status. The app then provides prompts that engages the user in critical self reflection based on their positionality sign.  

The project was featured on the University of the Arts instagram and shown at the graduate showcase for 2022.
